Feeling Anxious? You’re Not Alone

Lately, I’ve noticed a theme coming up in a lot of conversations—anxiety. That tight feeling in your chest, the spinning thoughts, the pressure to figure everything out right this second. Sound familiar?
Whether you're navigating school, friendships, work, or just trying to make sense of who you are in the world, anxiety has a way of showing up when things feel uncertain or overwhelming. And here's the truth: it’s completely human. But that doesn’t mean it has to run the show.
There’s a quote by Yung Pueblo that’s been echoing in my mind this week:
“Recognize when you are causing yourself stress by getting attached to a thought that is trying to jump to conclusions.Let go and breathe deeply.”
We all do this. We grab onto one thought—What if they’re mad at me? What if I fail? What if everything goes wrong?—and then suddenly it’s a whole story in our head. One thought turns into ten, and the stress builds fast.

But here’s the thing: your thoughts aren’t always telling the truth. Sometimes they’re just reacting to fear or uncertainty. When you notice your mind jumping to conclusions, try pausing. Take one full breath. Then another. Bring your attention back to what’s real—not what your anxiety says is real.
You don’t have to fix everything in a moment. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You’re allowed to take a breath and just be.
And if anxiety has been showing up more than you'd like, you're not the only one. This is something I explore often in coaching sessions—with people just like you who are learning how to understand and care for themselves in new ways.
If that sounds like something you’d want to talk about, I’m here when you’re ready.
